After 30 years in construction, commercial fishing, industrial painting, sailboat deliveries, the move industry and a lot of other physically demanding occupations, my body is thrashed, with severe arthritis in my knees and hips, and often have days that I can barely walk without taking prescriptions.

From childhood till the present, I have always been a visual person, with thousands of paintings and sketches scattered around my studio and old boxes, and honestly, I love my stuff, and love creating it as well.

About 10 years ago, my only brother, Doug, gave me an old Bondi Blue iMac and that created a new addiction that I cannot kick.

I experimented with everything I could on this ancient Mac, mainly visual stuff, music, and some web creations including a community garden web site that received nearly $200,000 in federal, state and local grants for habitat restoration.

This community Park, named, the Muwekma Ohlone Sanctuary ( name after the original Native Americans in San Francisco) had hundreds of community visits from local schools and environmental groups such as the Sierra Club, and we regularly conducted tours that educated the visitors on the history of the Muwekma Ohlone tribes, conducted trash abatements, plantings and more,

Therefore, earlier this year, I decided to got back to school and get a certificate in Graphic Arts so that in the future, instead of schlepping tools up and down stairways and ladders, that I can sit on my deriér and generate income.

I am currently enrolled at City College of San Francisco on Valencia Street in the Graphics Support Specialist Certification program, sponsored by the EDD, which started in January and will finish about June. This program essentially condenses about  1 year of multi platform graphics into 6 months and is very difficult.

Most important is that I am enjoying this program, love my teachers and love my fellow students.

This website was recommended by my Photoshop teacher, David Stevenson and I hope to upload more images as time goes on.

Very cool that this site allows the artists to generate income and share with the world.

See you all soon.
